Segal Coaching (“SC”) is a career and leadership coaching and resume writing business launched in 2015 and led by Anne Marie Segal, a certified career management coach, professional resume writer and former practicing attorney. Clients include attorneys, executives and entrepreneurs across a range of industries and fields.

SC is searching for a consultant to serve as an office manager for 8-10 hours per week starting in January 2018. This role could turn into a permanent position if the individual is the right fit and desires to work in such capacity, either full-time or part-time.

Work may include:

  • Scheduling and calendar management
  • Social media and online presentations
  • Program management
  • Invoicing and expense reconciliation
  • Proofreading and editing
  • Correspondence and occasional calls with clients
  • Interactions with media and other contacts
  • Some “nuts and bolts” document structuring
  • Additional tasks as agreed

As a small business with a high standard of excellence, SC seeks a self-motivated individual who understands that every interaction with a client or the public is an opportunity to make a great impression that can lead to further referrals. It is also a chance to make a lasting difference in the life of a job seeker or other professional.

The ideal candidate will have experience with client service at the highest levels, including C-Suite and other senior professionals, as well as appreciation for the busy lives, schedules and confidentiality needs of such individuals. Prior experience in a careers field is helpful but not required. Attention to detail and ability to take direction are absolutely essential.

Virtual candidates (outside of the Stamford, CT area) will be considered, although it would be helpful for the consultant to be in a similar time zone and able to travel to Stamford occasionally (1-2x per year). Remote work arrangement and high level of flexibility expected.
