Women Executives: Building Confidence, Increasing Effectiveness

After serving for seven years as the personal coach to 100+ executives and two years as the prior Facilitator of the PODER25 General Counsel talent pipeline program, Anne Marie Segal is launching her first Confidence Coaching cohort. Join now to be among the senior women leaders in this inaugural group.

This cohort of up to six women executives will undertake a four-month journey to overcome long-standing personal and professional challenges. Topics for the program include:

  • Speaking Up/Managing Up

Cohort members will have achieved considerable success in their careers but know they are capable of increasing their personal influence, impact and results.


This first Confidence Coaching cohort is limited to women who are currently (and have been for 5+ years) in a high-level leadership role at a public or private company or large-scale non-profit organization.

The program has three components: full cohort discussions, small-group meetings and individual coaching sessions. Specifically, members will meet twice a month for four months: once each month as a group with Anne Marie Segal, as cohort facilitator, and once each month in a self-led group of 2-3 cohort members. Each member will also meet directly with Ms. Segal for two individual coaching sessions during the four-month period.

Meeting Dates and Times:

Cohort members will have 10 sessions over the course of four months.

Four cohort discussions: 90-minute sessions on each of the following dates: June 23, July 21, August 18 and September 15, 2022 to be held at 11:30 am-1:00 pm ET / 10:30 am-12:00 pm CT / 8:30-10:00 am PT. Ms. Segal will facilitate these discussions.

Two individual coaching sessions: Two 45-minute sessions will be scheduled in late July or early August (session 1) and September (session 2), in line with the participant’s and Ms. Segal’s mutual availability.

Four cohort-led, small-group sessions: One-hour sessions once a month, as scheduled among the small-group members.

Cohort Criteria and Membership:

This cohort will be offered on a selective basis and is open to six senior women leaders. Prospective members will be screened in the interests of creating a mutually supportive and compatible group in terms of seniority, experience, needs and interests.

To effectuate change, offer mutual support and ensure a robust program, cohort members are expected to be active participants. Members who repeatedly miss sessions or fail to actively engage in discussions may be asked to withdraw from the program.
