Who is expected to attend this event?

This event is intentionally focused on career professionals from a variety of fields and levels, as you may find yourself in front of a diverse audience (across ages, seniority levels and functional areas) as you line up your next career transition. 

Participants will be required to sign a short confidentiality agreement confirming that they will not share information provided by other participants beyond the workshop and will not republish workshop materials.

Please bring at least seven copies of your resume to the workshop.
Dress: business casual.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Six Landmark Square is adjacent to the Stamford Town Center and a 15-minute walk or short cab or Uber ride (generally less than $10) from the New Haven Line train station (coming from the direction of New Haven or New York).

The event is on the fourth floor.

There is ample off-street parking in the Stamford Town Center (enter the Landmark Square Plaza through the mall entrance) and the Bedford Street garage and lot (17 Forest Street).

What should I bring to the event?

Please bring a laptop computer (and charger!) to the session along with your LinkedIn credentials to sign into your account. We will devote a portion of the morning and afternoon sessions to envisioning, writing and revising your profile, with a lunch break that affords time to regroup and work individually, if you wish.

Will food be served?

A continental breakfast will be served prior to the morning session at 8:30 am. Please contact the organizer (see above) no later than Friday, March 29, to request accommodations for any food allergies or preferences.

The lunch break from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm will allow time to order from the Landmark Cafe or a nearby restaurant, or participants can bring their own lunches if they wish to maximize the break to continue developing their LinkedIn strategies and profiles.

There will also be light snacks and beverages for the closing reception at 4:00 pm.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are not available. However, if you cannot attend, you can designate a colleague or friend to take your place with twenty-four (24) hours’ notice prior to the start of the event.
